We are so unhappy!

It was a long morning before Gymboree. Poor Mommy was ready to break into tears. I was still not a happy camper and we just weren't sure why. Of course running out of milk for her coffee didn't help either. Gymboree everyone said I wasn't myself. I spent the whole time sitting on Mommy's lap. I barely walked around. Now that for sure says I'm not happy. After falling asleep in the car, Mommy drove around and we ended up at Hannah's house. I got to play with Hannah, her cats, her fish, her great toys and watch Elmo dance on the T.V. (which we both found really funny), while Mommy got in some good talking and advise with Hannah's Mommy Sharon. I think Mommy really needed that, cause I think the last few days have been tough on me as well as her. I think she forgets that Sharon is there to chat anytime. Thanks Hannah and Sharon for making my Mommy feel a bit better today.

Cold, Cold and More Cold!

Sunday: First we went T.V. shopping at Bleekers. Oh if only I had my choice in T.V.'s!! Then Mommy and Daddy took me to Cosmic Adventure. It was busy, but I still had lots of fun. Mommy and Daddy crawled though lots of tubes and went down many slides with me. I think Mommy knees were sore afterwards.

Monday: Mommy talked to Hannah's Mommy. They just got back from Florida. I think they wish they were still there. Very cold outside, so we stayed in. Mommy went to work and I fussed with Daddy all night. When Mommy got home I had a low grade fever. She thinks it's my 2 molers coming in. Poor Mommy is in for a long night.

Today: Yup, we had a long night. I got some sleep and Mommy got very little. My fever came and went and now it is back again. So we are staying home. Besides it is another cold day outside. Too cold for Daddy to walk, so he took the car. Maybe Mommy and I can nap together later.

Some Doggies are Funny!

Today I watched a Dog Show Competition on T.V. It was great to see all the dogs running around on the screen. Some breeds like the Whippet and Shitzu were so funny I laughed. Some breeds just confused me, like the Sheep Dog. Daddy says I still can't have a dog, but at least I get to visit the ones we have in the family.
After dinner, Daddy sat with me and we read some of my books. I just love my books! Sometimes I don't even let Daddy read them. I just like to look at all the pictures. Especailly the books with doggies in them. Oh and my new favourite words are Book and Woof!

Too Cold Outside

Yesterday was cold, and today it seems even colder. I'm not sure if I like this winter stuff. I definately don't like my mitts! Mommy took me to Walmart yesterday to shop and see Tasha. We got a quick coffee with her, then back home to keep warm. Mommy doesn't have a car today since Daddy is going to Montreal, so we are staying home hanging out. Which is fine by me. Too cold to even go for a walk. Hannah, please bring back some warm sun from Florida!!!

Mommy needs a break.

Poor Mommy, we both still aren't better from our colds and I was up at 5:30am today. We did manage a nap in the morning before going to Gymboree. But I am very much in a Mommy mood this past week and 1/2. Very clingy and wanting to cuddle and be with her always. When we got home from the mall, Mommy barely made it in the door with me and I puked all over her white coat and the floor. It was a mess. Then when we went to pick Daddy up from work at 5pm, I fell asleep in the car. They tried to wake me up, but I was really grumpy and went back to sleep. I slept for 3 hours. I woke at 8pm and played until I finally fell asleep at 10:30pm. Poor Mommy and Daddy, this was their only night together this week without one or the other not being home in the evening. I'll have to make it up to them. Maybe I'll sleep in for them tomorrow.

Above Average!

Is what my Doctor said. Today I had my 1 year checkup. Unfortunately the appointment didn't start out well. Just as Mommy pulled up to the Doctors office, I puked all over me, my car seat and the car floor. Mommy didn't have a change of cloths, so I had to go into the office like I was.
Once in there I got to walk around naked, stomp my feet on the floor and try to open some cupboards. Still sick, the doctor said I was well enough to get my shots. One in each arm! Oh did it hurt and I cried so hard. I cried for a bit on the way home, but passed out in my pukie cloths, in the pukie car seat in the pukie smelly car. I'm so sorry Mommy!

Daddy's home again today! Also Grandma Diane and Grandpa Denis are here. We went to Cosmic Adventure today. It was fun. I spent most of my time on the slides. Then we went to dinner at Uncle John and Aunt Ro's. I am still trying to get over my cold, not eating a lot, but still having fun. Unfortunately now Mommy has my cold really bad. She's not feeling to great.

Fresh, very cold air.

I was feeling a bit better today, so Mommy took me to Toys R Us to buy my Birthday gifts. Mommy wouldn't let me see them. But I think I got a sled. Then to the mall. But I was asleep the whole time, so I have no idea there. Then we picked up Daddy and I hung out with him. It was nice to go out today after being stuck in the house for 2 days. But man was it cold. I guess that was the reason Mommy insisted I keep my mits on.

Still not well

I still have a cold, so Mommy and I just hung out today watching the snow fall.

White Winter Morning

So this is what a true Ottawa winter is suppose to look like. I wonder if the snow will stay this time? I wonder if I'll get a new sled this week? Ah poor squirrel. Mommy lets put out more nuts for him!

Runny nose, but still having fun.

Despite teething, a runny nose and Mommy keeping me in the house today, I was still able to have some fun. I played a lot of peek-a-boo with Mommy today. Daddy and I also got to watch New England win their football game. Next week they play the Colts. Bring it on!!!

Playing with Daddy

Mommy and Daddy took me back to Cosmic today. It was busy, but I still had lots of fun. Mommy did some sitting while I hung around and played with Daddy. We climbed up thing and went down some slides. It was great fun. I can't wait till next week when Daddy has a few days of on holidays and we can go again!

Doggie Chasing!

Today Mommy and I went to visit Carole and Layla. Layla is 7 months old. She is way so cute and has a doggie names Ramsey. I like to chase him around the house. A few times I tried to get him to chase me. I had so much fun. With all my walking I think I scared Layla's Daddy with all the baby proofing he'll have to do when Layla starts to walk.

Dad-T

Is my new favourite word. I have moved up from Da-Da to Dad-T, and I totally know what it means. Though I realize the man at Cosmic today was not my Dad-T when he turned around. Mommy isn't jealous though since I said Ma-Ma first. She took me to Comic today. It was quiet, but we had lots of fun. I am really into the slides and ball pit now. So Mommy took me on every slide in the place. Though her bum was pretty sore after a couple of the big ones. I did all the small slides by myself. Then Mommy took me to the mall. Where I shoed off my high pitched voice in a few of the stores. I think Mommy would have prefered me to use more of a indoor voice.

Elmo on big screen.....wow!

Today was a busy play day. I went to gymboree. They tried to get me to crawl though stuff. Mommy tried to encourage me with my favourite green sparklie ball. But instead of going though the tub, I went around. Good try Mommy. Ruby and Jack were there and I have been invited to a play date on Friday! Then it was off for a play date with Hannah! I haven't seen Hannah in so long. She has so many new cool toys. We had fun together playing and chasing each other up and own the hallways. She tried to teach me to climb the stairs, but that didn't happen. It was also cool to chase her cats and watch Elmo on her big T.V. I get to play with Hannah again tomorrow. I am sooooo excited!

Mommy's outside in her P.j.'s??

While I was watching a movie early this morning, Mommy decided to go refill the bird seed on the back deck. When she closed the back door, the bar fell and locked her out. Unfortunately the front door was also locked. In bare feet and her p.j.'s, Mommy ran to the neighbours. She used their phone to call Daddy, who was just about to arrive at work. While waiting for Daddy, the neighbour gave Mommy a coat and shoes so that she could stand on the back deck to watch me. I was happy watching my movie until I saw Mommy outside. I tried to get to her at the window but fell and started to cry. She made me feel better by playing peek-a-boo with me through the window. Daddy arrived about 10 minutes later, with his boss Kevin in tow. Kevin has 4 kids, his youngest is 1 month younger than me. Mommy has talked to Kevin, but has never met him in person. Daddy let a very embarrassed Mommy into the house. I was very happy to see Daddy home again and showed off my walking to Kevin. Mommy said it was finally nice to meet Kevin. He laughed and said he completely understood, though Mommy still looked embarrassed standing there in her p.j.'s, Unfortunately Daddy had to go back to work. After that Mommy and I spent the day together at home until she had to go to work. At least we can laugh at the story......

Hanging Out

Today I did some hanging out with Mommy. We played and walked a lot. Then we went for a drive before picking up Daddy from work. Daddy and I hung out after that since Mommy went to work for a few hours. We were hoping to go and visit her, but Mondays are a busy day. Maybe next time.

Yummy Icing!

Daddy baked a cake today. He said it was a test cake. I wonder for what???? The icing was very good! We took the cake over to David and Sandra's for dessert. They invited us over for dinner. I had so much fun walking all around their place.

8 teeth! Two more on the bottom came in at the same time.

Many New Sounds

My new sounds I started saying today are Moo and Quack. I have these farm animals and when I press their bellies they make noise. I still can't do the horse or pig, but I do find the pig really funny. I am also babbling a lot. I have a lot to say to all my stuffed friends. Daddy says I take after Mommy. I am also totally on the move. I don't need help getting up anymore. Which means I can pretty much go anywhere. Unfortuantely I got scolled a lot tonight for standing in the bathtub.

I'm a busy girl!

After my morning nap, Mommy took me to Cosmic Adventures. I'm still free for another 2 weeks! It was super busy since the kids are still out of school, but that didn't bother me. I spent 2 hours walking, playing with balls and attempting to climb up lots of things. Then we went to Toy's R Us. Again I walked around and had lots of fun. I was so tired afterwards, I fell asleep on the drive to pick up Daddy from work. Ok, so I had a late afternoon nap, but I was so tired! After dinner, Mommy and Daddy took me to Ikea. They only let me walk around there for so long. But walking around Future Shop was even better. So many big TV's! Oh man, Dora would look so great on some of those TV's!! Other than that, my 2 new teeth that have broken threw a bit are really bothering me. Mommy didn't really like me chewing on the sleeve of my new sweater. Sorry Mom!
