Fresh air with a friend.

Today was another great day. Hannah and her Mom picked me and Mommy up in the morning. We went to get there car cleaned and washed. While we waited for that, we went for a wagon ride in Hannah's way cool wagon. Then to lunch and back to pick the car up. After all that fresh air, Mommy and I were both tired when we got home that we had a nice nap.

Today after Mommy's yoga lession with Sandra, Hannah and her Mommy came over for a play date. It was great. We played with all my toys, fought over a few, chased each other around, spilled some water and coffee and watched Elmo and Dora. It was fantastic! Hannah is such a great friend, and she has such amazing eyes and so many teeth!





After my playdate, Daddy came home and we had dinner. But I was so tired after my great play date that I couldn't keep my eyes open for dinner. I guess it's early to bed for me tonight.

Today Mommy and Daddy took me to the Kanata Wave Pool. I haven't been swimming in a while and it was soooo much fun. I laughed and splashed and went underwater. My favourite part was walking around in the shallow end of the pool. I didn't need any help. Unless I fell and went underwater, then Mommy and Daddy were right there. I can't wait to go again!

A lifeguard came over and said no cameras allowed in the pool area. What a meanie, but that was the rules. Oh well, at least she got these!

A visitor Saturday afternoon

After a day of playing with Mommy and Daddy, I got a little visitor, Tomy the cat. But Mommy wouldn't let me go out and play with him.




Eventually it was off to have a bath, read some stories and head to bed.

my new word this morning....

bowl! I walked around the house saying bowl, bowl, bowl. Mommy and Daddy were so impressed! I also enjoyed hitting my bowl against the window. What a cool sound.

Splashing in a puddle again.

So tonight, once again Daddy put me on the toilet before my bath. I laughed and giggled, and when I got off the toilet, I peed on the floor. Daddy laughed, but I don't think he enjoys me jumping in the puddle afterwards.





Today I went to Hannah's for a play date. She has such great toys, including her new wagon. I had so much fun showing off my stair climbing skills, though Hannahs is much better than me. We laughed, giggled, and cased each other. And of course watched Elmo. It was so much fun!!

My potty training will need some work.

Tonight I decided on my own to get ready for bed. About 7:15pm I headed straight for the stairs, climbed all the way up and went to my bedroom to get ready for bath and bedtime. After Daddy completely undressed me I walked straight into the bathroom for my bath. While Daddy ran the tub, he put me on the toilet to see what would happen. I laughed, but nothing happened. He took me off the toilet and stood me against the tub. Seconds later I peed on the floor. When I looked on the floor and saw the puddle I started dancing and splashing in the puddle. I guess I am not quite ready for potty training yet.

dessert before dinner!

mmmmmmm is my new word or at least sound, and it gets me food! Daddy was having an early dinner and dessert and I wanted some of his dessert. Banana/vanilla pudding with whipped cream. Oh it was sooo good! Oh Mom, I still ate all my dinner and a bit more. Of course I wanted some of Mommy's dessert too. Ok I pigged out! I'm a growing girl! Then it was some light reading before bed. My new Dora book!

Brrrr, is it suppose to be cold inside?

We woke this morning to find out our furnace wasn't working. Unfortunately Mommy didn't get to sleep in cause she needed to look after me while Daddy worked on the problem. In the end a nice guy came and fixed it and by 1pm it was nice and warm again. At least it wasn't a super cold day outside. One bonus was that Daddy stayed home from work this morning!

She'll be walking with me soon!

Congrats Hannah for taking your first steps! Awesome! It's a good thing we have a little extra padding on our bottoms. I can't wait for us to go for walks together.

Not much to report today. Mommy still wasn't feeling 100% so we just hung around today. Daddy came home early so Mommy could go to work. But there was no way I was going to go to sleep tonight. So I stayed up to wait for Mommy to get home. When she got home at 9:15pm I was so happy to see her that 10 minutes after she picked me up, I fell asleep. I think Daddy was a little annoyed. Oh well!

Mommy's resting.

Today when Mommy woke up she was not feeling to great. She had a minor flu. Poor Mommy! So I hung out with Daddy today. We played all morning and then I had a good nap. After my nap, Mommy joined us and rested on the couch. Then Daddy took me for a walk outside. I got to see lots of Doggies walking by. I really didn't want to go home, but even Daddy was getting cold. Then all three of us went down for a nice nap. Mommy joined us for dinner and managed to have some soup. Daddy was great today and looked after both Mommy and I. Two thumbs up for Daddy!

Out for a winter walk

Mommy finally bought me a pair of winter boots. Pink and majorly on sale! So today we decided to go for a nice winter afternoon walk. I had so much fun! Even after I face planted into the snow bank. Watch out for the yellow snow!!
