climbing season here I come

Ok, maybe not this year, but I'll be ready when I can go outside and climb in a few years.
While Mommy was at work tonight, Daddy decided I should try my climbing harness on.

Today Hannah and her Mom Sharon came and picked us up in the morning and we spent the whole day at Hannahs. Poor Hannah still wasn't feeling herself, but I still have my cold, so we made a perfect pair. Did I mention that Hannah has some cool new toys! The bouncing zebra is awesome!

It was so nice to have the rain stop today and the warm sun come out in the afternoon. That ment I could go outside and walk all around. So Mommy, Daddy and I went for a walk to the Centrum and back. We played in the front and back yard while Daddy pulled up weeds until finally it was time for dinner. I was so tired from my day since I had a early morning nap that I didn't even make it though 10 minutes of Dora at 6pm. It was bath and bed for me.

Goodnight, hopefully I'll get to see the sun and my shadow again tomorrow.

Peck, peck, peck

This morning Mommy, Daddy and I watched our newest neighbour in the backyard tree. The squirrels living in the tree weren't very happy. They kept chasing him away and he kept coming back. I think they'll have to find a way to live in the big old tree together.

Hitching a Ride

This morning I had lots of playtime with Mom, (we let Daddy sleep in) it was so much fun. Though I am sure Mom didn't like getting up at 5am! Sorry Mommy!





After my nap, we went to the Science and Technology Museum. I just love that place. Daddy hasn't been in years so I got to show him everything! Afterwards I was so tired I needed to hitch a ride back to the car.

Gimmie a Break, gimmie a break....Kit Kat bar!

Today was a busy and fun day! It all started with Hannah and her Mom Sharon picking us up at 9:15 am to go to Cosmic Adventure. Of course we had so much fun chasing each other, going down the slides, playing in the ball pit and in the toy houses. We stopped for lunch and played a bit more in the game area. But it soon got busy with a lots of kids arriving and we were out of there.



After Cosmic we stopped off at the mall, where both Hannah and I fell asleep in our strollers. That gave our Moms time to shop and have a coffee. Then it was a few more stops, some fun movies in the car, including Dora, and a Kit Kat break. Of course you can see the results of that sweet tasty treat.



Then we headed home. But Hannah and her Mom came in and stayed for a play date! We played with my toys and chased each other up the stairs. It was so fun, until it was time to go pick up Daddy. But I had so much fun hanging with Hannah all day!



I got to play with Daddy after a small nap, (I fell asleep on the way to pick him up) but soon it was bath time and some stories. I had to wait for Daddy, so I started without him. I was so tired from the day, I passed right out after my head hit the pillow.

Mommy found it!

I didn't lose my Red Baby Einstien sippy cup outside! Mommy found it last night in the basement, behind the door, on the safe. Of course Daddy remembered he put it there after Mommy found it. Silly Daddy. So I was very happy this morning when I saw my sippy cup on the table.

What a day. First I had my doctors appointment. Two needles, one in each arm! Yes I totally cried! I also haven't changed much in weight and height. But I can reach the door nob in the doctors office and as soon as I learn to turn it, I am out of there before he even think of poking me again!



After my appointment, Mommy and I went grocery shopping. I had lots of fun and enjoyed picking out some apples. I love apples and love to eat them cut up.

We also discovered today that I lost my sippy cup. My favourite red Baby Einstien cup! I remember taking it with me outside last night and Daddy remembers picking it up, but neither of us remember bringing it back in the house. Hopefully Mommy will buy me a new one. I have a blue cup, but it's not the same as my red one.

I also got to see Hannah today. It was for a very short play date, but it was fun. I'll get to see her tomorrow and we'll have more fun then.



Tonight it was just Mommy and I since Daddy went outdoor climbing with David. We had so much fun. I got to play with a bowl of water on my highchair at dinner and I got everything wet. Even Mommy! Then we played patty cake, built blocks, read some books and played with my doll. Bath time was also great, with lots of bubbles and splashing. And Mommy let me watch Dora before bedtime! I drank my bottle, laid on the floor with my blankie then fell right to sleep. It was great!

In the afternoon, Hannah and her Mommy Sharon cam over for a play date. And also brought Mommy a coffee! Hannah also enjoys playing with my Popper and Fridge Letters as much as me.

Then Daddy and I got to hang out while Mommy went to work. We played outside twice and had a good dinner. Unfortuantely I gave him a hard time at bedtime, but was asleep by the time Mommy came home.

Relaxing this morning, eating my Cheerios and drinking my milk while watching Curious George.

Happy today, with just a runny nose.

I am sooo much happier than I was yesterday, even though I can't say I slept the greatest last night. Sorry Mom and Dad. But I don't think my cold is as bad as Moms was. So I was in good spirits today and had a fantastic nap. Even though I heard Mom doing some house cleaning. I hate the vaccuum!

In the afternoon I went to Walmart with Hannah and her Mom Sharon. We were good for most of the cart ride, but towards the end we both just wanted out to walk and run. So we went over to Chapters. I got to run, read books and scream in the hallway with Hannah. What fun!

After dinner Mom, Dad and I went to the climbing gym with David and Sandra. I fell asleep on the way there and got a 45 minute nap. But when I woke, I had so much fun running and walking all around. I am really interested in this climbing stuff. I love the ropes and watching people climb. Touching and reaching for the rocks are very challenging. I also had fun playing patty cake with David.

I wonder what Mom has in store for me tomorrow?

sniffle, sniffle

I was a grumpy, unhappy girl today. I think Mommy gave me her cold. Boo Mommy! I gave
poor Daddy a run for his money tonight when Mommy was at work. But she raced home in the rain to take care of me. Hopefully with the help of my new humidifier, I'll get a good night sleep tonight.

What another great day today. Though I screwed up Mom today and ended up having 2 naps. But that's ok, I needed the sleep. After my morning nap, we went for a walk to the shops. Hit Walmart for some food for me and some suncreen. Then we went to Roots and bought me 3 new hats. Daddy didn't think I needed 3 new hats, but Mommy says she needs them for the bag, the car and home. Whatever, I don't think I need any hats at all.




After my second nap and dinner, we went out for a evening walk in the backyard. It was windy but still very nice. I got to watch lots of people walk by and check out the area. Things are changing and I found the trees and rocks to be interesting.
