Shopping day with Grandma!

In the morning, I got to hang out with Grandma and Grandpa. Then Grandpa and Daddy started to work on the "curve appeal" front while Grandma, Mommy and I went shopping. I got a new toy and Mommy got some great new chairs for the back porch. It was so much fun shopping!

Cleaning day for Mommy

Grandma Wen and Grandpa Dan are here today!! Wow I am sooo lucky. By the time this month is over I'll have had all my Grandparents visit me. And why not, I am the best Granddaughter!

So today was a cleaning and running around day for Mommy and me. Well not so much me, I just tagged along. Groceries, Walmart, liquer store and then home to finish cleaning. It was a busy day and not really fun for me, but it was worth it to stay up and see my Grandparents! No pictures today since Mommy was busy.

It's healed!

Today Mommy, Daddy and I went to CHEO to get my cast taken off. We didn't have to wait very long before they called us in. I was very good when the Dr. took the cast off. I was very interested in the saw and what he was doing. But afterwards I wasn't happy to be held down during the xray. I kept waying and saying sadly bye-bye to the xray woman because I wasn't happy with what she was doing and I didn't want to be there. Though Mommy and Daddy seemed impressed that I was communicating this. Who cared! I just wanted off that table! As we waited for the xray results, I got to watch some Dora to keep me occupied. Then the Dr. came in and showed us that my leg was all healed. The Dr. wanted me to walk around the office, was limping, but it will be like that for a while until I get some strength back in my leg. He said it could be up to 4 weeks, I give myself a week!

Goodbye Grandpa!

Today Mommy, Grandpa and I just hung out. We went for a nice walk in the morning and then played in the afternoon. When Mommy left for work, Grandpa also left. He is staying at Aunt Alison's tonight for a visit, then driving back to Halifax early tomorrow morning. I will miss you Grandpa! I had so much fun with you. I enjoyed every moment and loved all the new things you taught me. I hope to see you again soon. Hugs and Kisses!!!

science and books

Today Mommy and I took Grandpa to the Science and Technology Museum. I had a great time showing Grandpa all around. We especailly had fun going up and down the stairs on the trains. I also liked him playing chase with me though the dark, lighted tunnels. After the museum, I had a nap while Mommy and Grandpa had lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe. Then it was off to Toy's R Us and home. Grandpa bought me a very bouncy ball. It looks like a soccer ball. He taught me to bounce it like a basketball! I am so talented. I also started to hug and then kiss my Grandpa today. He was very touched. In the evening before bed, he read all my favourite books to me. It was the perfect end to a perfect day.

Fun filled Grandpa days!

I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to update my blog. I have been very busy having lots of fun with my Grandpa John. So he is a recap of all the things we have done so far.....

Saturday: We just hung out and got to know each other. Mommy, Daddy, Grandpa and I went for a long morning walk. We took him all around the area. He was very impressed. Of course I fell asleep and had a nice nap. After lunch we did some shopping in town. Then it was home for some down time.



Sunday: Daddy went back to bed since he was feeling a bit run down still, so Mommy, Grandpa and I went for coffee. Well they had coffee and I napped. In the afternoon we went to Aunt Alison's for a family BBQ. It was great! All the cousins were there Katie, Olivia and Graci, Ben (Katie's boyfriend), Miranda (Katie's roommate) Alison, Reg and the doggies. We played all around the backyard and even played some badminton. I tried to play, but decided to cheerlead instead, yelling got it, yeah and clapping. I was the hit of the party of course. I was also good at not chasing the doggies to much.





Monday: Grandpa, Mommy and I ment Hannah and her Mommy at the Experimental Farm. I loved it! Especailly the pigs and cow. The play area was fun as well. The calfs were so cute. One of them tried to eat my stroller. Afterwards I had a nice nap while Mommy and Daddy had lunch at Mexi's on Dow's lake. After lunch we went home and relaxed for the rest of ther day.
