Fun at the Museum

Today I went to the Children's Museum with Hannah B, Jacob, Sharon and Mommy. We had fun playing with everything. We coloured, danced to some music, played Jacks, a game of chess and did some fishing. Though I don't think Mommy likes me playing in the market. She spends most of the time picking up the fruit I throw on the floor.

I'm a fast little girl!

Today Mommy took me to Cosmic Adventures. We haven't been in so long. I went with Daddy on Sunday and we did warn Mommy that I can do a lot of things I couldn't before. Boy did I surprise her! I went down the slides even before she did, I crawled though tubes without her, I climbed into the ball pits and got back out, climbed up into the play structures all by myself. Poor Mommy couldn't keep up with me! Now she only wishes I would stop chewing on the balls.

Mommy got her new little camera tonight. Something tells me she won't let me get near this one!

This morning Mommy and I went for a walk around Andrew Haydon Park. I chased the birds, which there are a lot of, and then we walk to the edge of the river where all the rocks are. I like to stand and climb on the rocks. I also love to pick the yellow flowers and give them to people that walk by.

Today I went to Brewer Park with Hannah B, Jacob, Sharon and my Mommy. It's the greatest park in Ottawa!

A year already!

HAPPY 1 YEAR OLD BIRTHDAY COUSIN OCTAVIA! WE HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT DAY!

oH No!

No, no, no, no, no ,no, no. I used to say that over and over because I liked the sound of it. But now....NO! I know the meaning of no. No to wanting my hair brushed, no to wanting my Minigo, no to wanting my face washed, no you can't take that away from me. I think I just made my Mommy's life a bit more difficult! Hee, hee!

While Mommy's was away......

We had a fun day, well actually 2 days. Mommy went down to Oakville for the weekend to attend 2 baby showers, so it was Daddy and I all weekend. We had a great time together. My Daddy is the best! On Saturday we hung out and played all morning then after my nap he took me to Cosmic Adventure. I haven't been there in so long, I had a great time going though all the tubes and down the slides with Daddy.

On Sunday he took me to the park and again after my nap we took the car to the train station so Mommy could drive it home since her train was coming in really late. We took the bus home. I had a great time on the bus, I was super good and enjoyed seeing lots of people.

I was a really good girl for my Daddy. I ate all my meals and slept really well. But it might have backfired on me. I think I was too good, because now Mommy knows she can go away for weekends and I will be ok. I loved hanging with my Daddy, but I also missed my Mommy.

It's so Amazing!

Today Mommy took me to the Children's Museum at the Museum of Civilization. Hannah B, Jacob and Hannah G. were there with Sharon and Shawna. This place was so great. So much to see, explore and touch. I can't wait to go back!
