Goodbye my crib!

Today Sharon, Jacob and Hannah came over for a play date. While they were hear, Sharon helped Mommy set up my bed and rearrange my bedroom. Thanks again Sharon! That night I said good bye to my crib and slept in my new bed. I did very well and only fell out twice. Mommy was smart though and put my crib mattress down so I had something to land on. So that is one change in many that is going to happen this year.

Happy 1 year Birthday Cousin Ava!



Today I went to playgroup in the morning. I had so much fun playing chase with Patrick. Eventually all the kids get involved and it's totally crazy but fun.



In the afternoon I went over to Ava's house for party. I missed her big party on Saturday, but it was nice to see her on her actual birthday. They also gave me my Birthday gift which I totally love and enjoyed opening. It was nice to take a party break though and watch a bit of Jeremy's Cars movie.

Songs over the phone.

Tonight Daddy and I went to visit Mommy at work. I was so happy to see her, but very unhappy to leave her and go home. I cried and cried and said "I want my Mommy". I had never said that before so Daddy said we could call Mommy. I said over the phone, "I want my Mommy!" I think it made Mommy a bit sad to hear me cry, so she started to sing my new favourite song over the phone, Patty-cake. Mommy has been singing this song with the actions for so long, that now I know all the actions and can sing some of words. Daddy let me stay up till Mommy got home and soon I was singing Patty-cake with her until I fell asleep.

My first cookies! (holiday update)

Over the holidays, while Mommy was out shopping, Daddy and I baked some ginger bread cookies. It was my first time baking, and I had a blast! Since it was my first time, Daddy tired to take some pictures for Mommy to see.
