2 very long nights and days.

Yesterday morning when I woke, I still had a pretty good fever, but what concerned my parents the most was the fact that I didn't want to move. Not even my arms. When I tried to stand I would just fall over, all I wanted to do was lie down, so off to the doctors we went. After being told my ear infection was back (maybe it never did orginally go away after the last one), the doctor didn't like my lathogic state so she sent up to CHEO. After checking in, I got my temperature checked, in a not so pleasant place, and it was still up there. So they gave my some drugs and we waited. After 4 hours of waiting and me getting some sleep in Mommy and Daddy's arms, my fever broke. I got more drugs and started to feel good enough to walk around. By 5pm we had seen the doctor, got a perscription for my ears and headed home. Unfortunately it was another sleepless night for both Mommy and me. In the past 2 nights Mommy has had about 6 hours sleep, but she is hanging in there.

Today we just hung around the house. I wasn't totally happy, but Mommy did everything possible to make me happy. In the evening I spiked a fever very quickly again, but it broke a few hours later. I slept on and off during the hockey game in Mommy's arms or on the couch. There was no way I wanted to be in my crib. Hopefully I don't give my parents a rough night again and we all get some sleep. Maybe tomorrow will be better, the rain will have stopped, and I'll be in a much better mood.

On a high note, Grandma and Grandpa Kemp are coming for a visit this weekend. We are so excited!
